Learn
Our desire is for everyone who comes to Beacon to learn and grow in their faith. We aim to see people of all ages equipped to serve, to teach, and to share Jesus Christ's love with others. We do this in a variety of ways both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
Kids
At Beacon Kids, we desire to teach our children the truth of God’s Word in a fun environment so that they will understand the simple and rich truths of the gospel and be encouraged toward faith in Jesus.
Youth
Beacon Youth (6th-12th grade) exists to partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus through exploring faith, making friends, and having fun. All students attend the worship gathering on Sunday mornings and are encouraged to attend other organized weekend or mid-week gatherings to learn about God and build a relationship with Him, with each other, and with their leaders.
Community Groups
Our small group Bible studies at Beacon are called Community Groups. Community Groups provide a place where the truth of the Bible can be learned and lived out in the context of meaningful relationships. Each Community Group is mixed in terms of age, gender, and life stage. Our Community Groups meet in homes or our classroom spaces throughout the week and on the weekend.
Equipping Classes
In addition to our small group Bible studies, we offer periodic equipping classes. Equipping classes provide focused training on a particular topic. Our most recent equipping classes have addressed evangelism, parenting and neighboring.
Women’s Ministry
Women at Beacon regularly gather for Bible study, prayer and encouragement. Throughout the semester, there will be fun opportunities to connect with one another through outside events and activities.
Men’s Ministry
Men at Beacon regularly gather for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. This happens in small groups of 3-5 as well as in larger gatherings throughout the year.
College
Beacon desires to be a faith family and a home away from home for college students in the Greater Boston area. We are conveniently located in the Western Suburbs near Bentley University, Harvard University, Boston College, and Brandeis University. If you are a college student and would like to deepen your faith, serve with your gifts, and connect into a local church we would love to provide you food or coffee to talk more!
